Trademark: Opposition Procedure

On August 28 a seminar took place in Rotterdam, organized by the Benelux Association for Trademarks and Design law (BMM). BMM unites the best specialists practising in the area of trademark registration and design law in the Benelux.

The seminar was organized for lawyers and specialists working in intellectual property issues. Mrs K. Kerbel represented BlauStein Business Lawyers at this event.

On this occasion, Benelux opposition proceedings were chosen as a topic. Opposition is one of the most complicated procedures in the area of intellectual property law. The participants of the seminar shared their experience in opposition proceedings and learned interesting and useful facts regarding trademark registration at the Benelux Office for Intellectual Property.
